The Searchmont Resort is a short 2 minute drive from our B&B and provides our guests the opportunity to enjoy a day or weekend on the mountain!
Searchmont Resort also features cross-country ski trails and snowshoe rentals.
The Searchmont Resort is suitable for the beginner and challenging enough for the experienced!
Throughout the winter months why not plan a weekend adventure? Take advantage of the easy access to our B&B from the groomed trails right from Sault Ste. Marie! (We provide services to assist you... ask for details) Or enjoy the hundreds of kilometers of ungroomed logging roads, then come back to our B&B and enjoy a warm sauna and a relaxing evening!
* Groomed snow machine trails require trail permits.
We have plenty of room to park your truck and trailer durring your stay and also offer parking for unloading/loading for those heading out to camps in the area.
There are also miles of trails throughout the area to enjoy a day of cross country-skiing or snowshoeing...make sure you include a treck to see the "Ice Wall"!
